CATFISH
*SPOILER ALERT*
OK so I just watched the documentary ‘Catfish.’ I meant to watch this forever ago but never got around to it, but it was on tonight on More4 so I decided ‘Hey, what have I got to lose? I’ll watch it!’ So I did.
Wow.
First of all, let’s get the shallow part out of the way, the lead guy was hot. Hot like fire, hot. I wanted to kiss the screen…several times. Almost did once. Just wow.
Anyway, apart from that, it was just one of the most interesting things I’ve ever seen! This guy basically has this online relationship with a girl that he thinks is 19 years old and the sister of a gifted toddler, when really she is a 40 year old woman who has been compulsively lying to him from the very beginning. Anyway, it’s such an incredible documentary and gives a great insight into the lengths that some people will go when it comes to conducting make-believe online relationships. I felt so much for the main guy, who really thought that he had connected with this girl who turned out to not even be real. He wrote letters to her make-believe address, texted a number he thought was hers but turned out to be the 40 year old woman’s and friended her whole family on Facebook.
When he eventually met the woman she confessed everything to him (after some gentle probing on his part, no dirtiness intended with that statement). When he asked the 40 year old woman to use the voice that she had used whilst pretending to be the 19 year old girl on the phone to him, his eyes started to water. It was so amazing to see how the entire relationship the main guy had had with this girl turned out not to be real and how he was struggling to come to terms with it.
The most interesting part of this documentary however, is that when the lead guy meets this 40 year old woman who has been lying to him the whole time, you can’t even dislike the woman because her life is just so sad and lonely that all you can do is pity her. God.
I would really recommend it to anyone who likes a good documentary, because even thought I’ve spoilt it I still missed out huge gaps in the story that the documentary goes into more detail on. Wow, really good documentary! This is why I’d love to be an investigative journalist.

I know I’ve already posted a picture of him not that long ago, but it’s actually taking a lot of self-control to not put a giant montage of him all over Tumblr. This crush is serious. It’s those eyes.In my next post I might actually try to write something of substance instead of making Tumblr my own personal celebrity-appreciation blog.
Anonymous asked: You are so beautiful :) tehehehehe
Oh my I do declare! :P
There are several people who I think this is but I don’t want to embarass myself by getting it wrong. I’m pretty sure I know though. Thank you haha oh you.
I’ll probably regret doing this but…
It’s been a while since I done this so let’s see what it brings! I daresay it will be nothing as Tumblr is barely used these days. Or at least, I barely use it.
Tate, why do you have to be such a psycho? Your smile is like sunshine but your heart is black as the night!
I really do freakin’ love American Horror Story.

If I were to get into a fight, the very first thing I’d do would be kick my Dad in the plums, as a display of strength. It would be a warning, as if to say ‘if I can do that to my own Dad, imagine what I’d do to you.’
